Known lovingly as Maharaj-ji, he is closely associated with devotion to Hanuman. Many devotees regard him as an incarnation of Hanuman; this is a cherished matter of faith.

Deluxe Salon — written on the sign outside as "Deluxe Saloon", डीलक्स सैलून in Hindi — is a neighbourhood barber shop with a habit: the radio never turns off. This site is that radio, brought online. A live Deluxe Saloon playlist of 90s Hindi film songs plays round the clock, the same way it would if you were sitting in the chair waiting your turn.
